Front Office: Multi-Tenant. What data gets created when I add a new Tenant?

When a Tenant (previously known as a client) is created an associated division, cost center and user group is automatically created in that tenant’s name.

When you create a tenant it is given a status of ‘activated’. Only active tenants are available for selection in data ‘pickers’. If a tenant is deactivated, none of its users will be able to login to the system.

You can enter your tenant’s name, as well as any general notes which might be useful when monitoring the account. A code (Tenant Code) is auto-assigned but if a specific tenant identifier is required for integration purposes for an end tenant, this can be specified within the Integration configuration tab.

There is a rich text editor panel available. You can use this to change the default Service Catalog welcome message to your tenants own welcome message.  Your tenant’s theme can be changed using the Theme tab but if multiple levels of tenant are configured there will be no cascading from intermediate levels down.

Please go to Admin > Documents > Multi-Tenant solution guide for more information.
